Sevai, Shavige or Santhakai, or Saemia is a light food prepared in southern India for dinner or breakfast.  This traditional food prepared with raw rice or steamed rice.  This food is good for health and it is suitable for all ages.  There are different varieties of Sevai made in South India like Lemon Sevai, Tamarind Sevai, Plain Sevai & Coconut Sevai.
